SeaTac's Ballot Proposition for $15 an Hour Minimum Wage Passes
Weeks after the close of the Washington state polls, the final ballots have been counted and state officials announced yesterday that Proposition 1 passed with a mere 77-vote margin. For those who aren’t familiar with Prop. 1, it sets a $15 wage floor for an estimated 6,000 airport and hotel works in SeaTac, by far the highest minimum wage in the United States.
