Professional Experience
Rabia Ahmad focuses her practice in the areas of health care law and medical malpractice, specifically defending physicians and hospitals against medical malpractice lawsuits and in professional licensing proceedings. After law school, Rabia joined a national corporate defense litigation firm where she successfully litigated complex medical-related cases on behalf of large corporations and national insurers. She also has extensive experience counseling healthcare institutions on matters pertaining to professional liability, negligence, HIPAA claims, and other areas of health care law.
Combined with her legal training, Rabia’s medical and scientific background, including a degree in molecular and cellular biology and three years of medical school, offers her clients a competitive advantage when complex medical, regulatory, and legal issues intersect.
When she is not practicing law, Rabia enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
