Helsell Fetterman LLP, a premier mid-sized law firm in the Pacific Northwest providing trusted advice and formidable advocacy for its clients, announced today that Rabia Ahmad was promoted to the partnership.
Rabia came to Helsell Fetterman three years ago and joined our nationally ranked Litigation and Health Care Groups. Rabia defends physicians and hospitals against medical malpractice lawsuits and represents physicians in professional licensing and disciplinary proceedings before the Washington Medical Commission. Rabia combines her legal training with her unique medical and scientific education to offer clients a competitive advantage when complex medical, regulatory, and legal issues intersect.
Rabia graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2015. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Arizona and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with Honors in 2007 with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, a B.A. in Political Science, and a Minor in Chemistry. She then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed three of four years towards her M.D. before deciding to pursue her law degree. Her strong medical background and dedication to serving others gives Rabia an exceptional ability to connect with her healthcare clients and advocate on their behalf.
