Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Phillip Chu
Phillip Chu has joined Helsell Fetterman’s litigation and medical malpractice groups.
Phil is a former prosecutor with a combined seven years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and as an Assistant City Prosecutor with the Seattle City Attorney’s Office. Phil has tried numerous cases to jury verdict and brings his extensive experience in the courtroom to Helsell Fetterman.
Phil graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2012, where he was a former member and co-president of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association, a former member of the Black Law Student Association, and former member of the Student Bar Association. He also served as a teaching assistant for Criminal Law and Property Law. During law school, Phil was a judicial extern to the Honorable James P. Donohue, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Western District of Washington. Prior to attending law school, he graduated from Whitman College with a BA in Philosophy and Economics.
