Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Rabia Ahmad
Rabia Ahmad has joined Helsell Fetterman’s medical malpractice and litigation groups.
Rabia brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She has successfully litigated complex medical-related cases on behalf of large corporations and national insurers and advised and defended clients in a variety of complex civil matters primarily in the areas of medical malpractice and catastrophic injury litigation. She also has extensive experience counseling healthcare institutions on matters pertaining to professional liability, negligence, HIPAA claims, and other areas of health care law.
Rabia graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2015. While in law school, she was a member of Mock Trial/Moot Court, served on the Student Ambassador Council, and volunteered with the Street Law Clinic. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Arizona and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with Honors in 2007 with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, a B.A. in Political Science, and a Minor in Chemistry. She then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed three of four years towards her M.D. before deciding to pursue her law degree.
Rabia combines her legal training with her medical and scientific education to offer clients a competitive advantage when complex medical, regulatory and legal issues intersect.
