Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Two New Partners


Helsell Fetterman LLP, a premier mid-sized law firm in the Pacific Northwest providing trusted advice and formidable advocacy for its clients is pleased to welcome Sarah Elerson and Tyler Jones to the partnership.

Sarah Elerson has been practicing law for 8 years, joining Helsell Fetterman in 2016. A native of the Northwest, Sarah received her undergraduate degree from Central Washington University and her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2012. In law school, Sarah participated in the National Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team.
In 2018, Sarah completed the intensive Washington Leadership Institute, a collaboration between the Washington State Bar Association and the University of Washington School of Law.

Sarah primarily handles family law matters. She focuses on practical solutions while understanding that family law matters are often emotionally charged and difficult situations for individuals and their families. She uses her skills and experience to help clients navigate legal issues and provide tailored services to meet the client’s needs and goals.

Sarah has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star since 2017.

Tyler Jones has been practicing law for 6 years, joining Helsell Fetterman in 2017. Also a native of the Northwest, Tyler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, his law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2014, and his Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. In law school, Tyler served as Chair of the Moot Court Board and was elected to the National Order of Barristers.

Tyler’s practice focuses on representing professionals, such as physicians, dentists, veterinarians, CPAs, and attorneys with all of their business needs. Tyler’s tax practice focuses on representing individuals, non-profits, for-profit businesses in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, the Washington State Department of Revenue, and the U.S. Department of Justice
