Jonathan Minear Joins Helsell Fetterman

Firm Adds to Its Class of Associates

Jonathan Minear joined Helsell Fetterman as an associate. A 2008 law school graduate, Jon has over four years of experience as an attorney—working as both a judicial clerk and an associate since graduation.

After earning his B.A. in Political Science from Emory University, where he participated in Mock Trial and was a member of the Political Science Honors Society, Jon attended the Seattle University School of Law. As a law student, he served as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Law Review and worked as an in-house law clerk for Puget Sound Energy.

Jon then spent two years clerking for Judge Marywave Van Deren at Division II of the Washington State Court of Appeals upon graduation from law school.  Following his clerkship, Jon began to build his practice in civil defense litigation at a Seattle firm, working on medical malpractice, legal malpractice, real estate professional liability, product liability, premises liability, personal injury, contract disputes and appellate matters.

In 2012, Jon was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers®. During his spare time, he volunteers at Banchero Friends Services, a nonprofit organization that assists adults with developmental disabilities.
