Karen Kalzer Joins the Faculty of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance
Karen Kalzer has been invited to join the faculty of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) 2014 Claims College in Philadelphia September 7-9. Karen brings her 20 plus years of litigation experience to the Claims College, and will be presenting to first year students in the School of Casualty Claims on early claims investigation. Karen notes “I’m very excited to join the faculty and especially on such a key topic. Getting an early and accurate handle on a claim is key reaching an appropriate resolution.”
Created for industry professionals, by industry professionals, the CLM Claims College educates claims professionals so they can do their current jobs better and gain the knowledge they need to advance their careers. College Faculty includes senior level leaders from insurance companies, corporate counsel, outside counsel and major corporations. The CLM promotes and furthers the highest standards of claims and litigation management and brings together the thought leaders in both industries.
Karen is a member of the Employment, Religious Organizations, and Trials & Appeals teams at Helsell Fetterman. She is a graduate of the Seattle University School of Law, holds the Certified Litigation Management Professional designation or the Litigation Management Institute at Columbia Law School and is a member fo the Washington and Oregon Bars.
