Lauren Parris Joins Helsell Fetterman as an Associate Attorney
A two-time Summer Associate at Helsell Fetterman during her legal studies, Ms. Parris’s practice will focus on general tort litigation, contract matters, and risk management.
Lauren Parris, a 2011 law school graduate, has joined Helsell Fetterman LLP. Already experienced with Helsell Fetterman and its clients, Ms. Parris was a Summer Associate during the summers of 2009 and 2010, supporting the defense litigation, commercial litigation and business practices groups.
Ms. Parris graduated from The Johns Hopkins University, then attended the Seattle University School of Law. As a law student, she was an active member of the Black Law Students Association—where she served as Vice President—and the Moot Court Board, placing among the top four semifinalists at the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition in her final year.
At Helsell Fetterman, Ms. Parris’s practice will focus on general tort litigation, contract matters, and risk management for individual clients as well as small- to medium-sized business clients. In joining as an associate, she looks forward to working with the legal team and clients: “There’s a great collaborative atmosphere here. I’m encouraged to engage in dialogue, ask questions, and find answers. I look forward to developing and executing strategies to serve our clients.”
